The customer wanted vertical blinds to cover a long kitchen window.
Bigger windows put more stress on the slats of their blinds because they need to support their own weight further from the frame. If the window is taller than it is wide, you can divide the blinds into multiple frames or add a support bar down the middle. If the window is wider than tall, this solution is less practical. In that case, vertical panel blinds are the best approach! These blinds run up to down, and slide or rotate side to side, making them the opposite of more typical horizontal blinds. Mr. Nikita’s kitchen window is a perfect example of a very long, not all that tall, window. The rotating faux-wood panel vertical blinds we set him up with covers it well with no weight or bending issues.
